Safety of floating PV parks - Artelab laboratory visit

Context

Following on from the floating PV working group launched in 2024 at the Open Energies trade show, Tenerrdis would like to continue discussions with industry players in order to remove a major obstacle to the development of floating PV parks: the difficulty of convincing insurance companies to cover the risks of their project.

The aim of the November 27 workshop is to convince insurers, financiers and local authorities that the industry's players are serious about taking into account the risks associated with floating PV.

The workshop will include a visit to Artelia's physical modeling laboratory, which houses a test platform to model, on a reduced scale, the behavior of floating PV parks (anchors, floats, etc.) subjected to wave stress.

For logistical reasons, participation in this workshop is limited to 25 people, including speakers.
