Battery working group #6: regulatory, insurance and environmental issues relating to batteries

Take part in the 6th meeting of the Battery Working Group, devoted to the regulatory, insurance and environmental issues surrounding batteries.

In 2023, a new European battery regulation came into force to replace Directive 2006/66/EC. This new battery waste regulation aims to create a circular economy for the sector by targeting all stages of the life cycle, from design to waste treatment to producer responsibility.

During our Working Group meeting, we would like to discuss the following topics with you:

• the application of this regulation in France
• opportunities for life cycle assessment (LCA) and eco-design
• insurance-related aspects.

This format is designed to be highly interactive: your feedback, questions and points of view will be at the heart of the discussions. The aim of this meeting is to share technical and industrial expertise, and to identify potential avenues for collaboration.
