This question is becoming increasingly topical as energy meters and the increasing presence of data in your systems become more and more important. The need to be able to measure the evolution of your energy performance is becoming essential when obtaining public subsidies, complying with new regulations, and demonstrating that you have met your commitments under an energy performance contract (CPE) or ISO 50001 objectives.

Today, to assess the energy performance of your sites, you are used to comparing gross consumption or using ratios. These approaches are generally not appropriate for rigorous energy performance evaluation.
