TENERRDIS invites you to the Think Tank IRVE: Infrastructures de Recharge de Véhicules Électriques, organized by CARA on September 10. This event is free of charge for TENERRDIS members, so register with the code TT-TENERRDIS.
The use of batteries for heavy long-distance transport is a solution being studied to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. However, beyond the additional cost of vehicle purchase, heavy-duty long-distance battery-powered mobility requires overcoming a major technical, energy and economic challenge: how to provide the recharging power needed to recharge a 44t in 15 minutes, all along a European corridor?
On September 10, several types of players - researchers, energy companies, freeway operators, transport companies and IRVE installers - will give their views on the subject.
