The IMAGHyNE project, coordinated by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, is paving the way for the deployment of a renewable hydrogen economy in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes that is integrated into the energy system and meets the challenges of decarbonizing the mobility and industrial sectors.
To accelerate the deployment of this great hydrogen valley, AXELERA, CARA and Tenerrdis invite you to take part in a workshop to better understand the challenges of decarbonizing industry and the transition to renewable, low-carbon hydrogen, assess the solutions currently available and their limits, and present innovative, emerging solutions in production, transport (infrastructure) and storage.
Making a sustainable transition to renewable, low-carbon hydrogen in industry: current situation, challenges and emerging solutions
Manufacturers need to significantly reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to meet the climate targets set by the French National Low-Carbon Strategy (SNBC). The transition to renewable, low-carbon hydrogen is one lever for action. To achieve this, manufacturers need to invest in innovative technologies and appropriate infrastructures, while overcoming economic and regulatory challenges.
A number of regional manufacturers have embarked on, or wish to embark on, this transition to renewable or low-carbon hydrogen. How can they take action? What solutions can you turn to to decarbonize your industry? How do you choose?
This half-day will have several objectives:
Present case studies from manufacturers who have made or wish to make the transition to renewable, low-carbon hydrogen.
Present an overview of existing solutions for the production, transport (molecule) and storage of renewable, low-carbon hydrogen.
Present innovative and emerging solutions (under development or in pilot phase)
