Tenerrdis is launching an AMI to compile a catalog of its members' decarbonisation solutions, which will be submitted to the COJOP Alpes 2030, so that the assets of the Tenerrdis network can contribute to the staging of the lowest-carbon Games possible.

Context

On July 24, 2024, the International Olympic Committee awarded the organization of the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to the French Alps at its 142nd session.

Like the 2024 Summer Games, the hosting of the 2030 Winter Games will be an opportunity to accelerate the economic, social and environmental development of the areas in which they will be held, both in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and in the South of France. The sites selected in the bid are divided between the Miribel-Courchevel area, La Plagne, Val d'Isère, La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornant, Isola 2000, Briançon, Montgenèvre and Nice.

The French Alps bid has 6 priorities:

  1. A link between two territories in the service of a universal sports project
  2. Complementary know-how, strong guarantees
  3. A sober, responsible and safe Games
  4. An innovative approach, a cultural heritage
  5. Sustainable Games, integrating the challenges of global warming
  6. Inclusion of Paralympic athletes, connecting the Southern Alps, local jobs

The intersection of innovation and global warming priorities is an opportunity to propose innovative solutions to the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games for the deployment of low-carbon solutions during the Games, and more broadly to decarbonize the mountain sites concerned over the long term.

Tenerrdis is therefore launching a Call for Expressions of Interest from its members, with a view to compiling a catalog of solutions, which will be submitted to COJOP in the coming months. Other calls for expressions of interest are likely to be issued by other competitive clusters in the Auvergne-Rhônesne-Alpes and Sud regions, with a view to multiplying the themes and fields of application of the solutions identified, as well as geographically networking the companies offering these solutions.

To have your solution listed in our catalog, please fill in the form below in a concise and operational manner.
