Call for contributions to present your innovation at the next "Decarbonization of industrial sites: feedback and prospects" day.
On March 13, 2025, in collaboration with Axelera and the Allice Alliance, the next joint day "Decarbonization of industrial sites: feedback and prospects". To maintain the collaborative momentum in favor of decarbonizing industrial sites, the DGE, DGEC and ADEME are renewing their support for ambitious projects, as evidenced by the recent launch of the latest ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐'๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐๐ฬ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐๐), which will contribute directly to achieving the new greenhouse gas emission reduction targets of the ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ฬ๐ ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง๐ (SNBC) currently under revision. https://agirpourlatransition.ademe.fr/entreprises/aides-financiers/20241219/appel-doffres-grands-projets-industriels-decarbonation-2024
Context
In a context of ecological transition and the fight against climate change, the decarbonization of industrial sites is a major challenge. Commitments made at national and international level, notably under the Paris Agreement, require a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions to limit global warming to 1.5ยฐC. In France, the Stratรฉgie Nationale Bas-Carbone (SNBC) sets out an ambitious roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. This trajectory is based on a global mobilization of all economic sectors, with a particular focus on industry, which is a major energy consumer and is responsible for a significant proportion of CO2 emissions.
The draft SNBC-3 introduces an upward revision of national climate targets, now setting a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared with 1990, compared with 40% in the previous version. Among the targeted sectors, industry is to reduce its CO2 emissions by 68%. This ambition calls for far-reaching transformations, involving technological developments, innovation in industrial processes, and major organizational changes.
In this context, this day dedicated to decarbonization at the level of a site, an industrial group or an industrial zone aims to present:
-
Feedback on the implementation of one or more levers (electrification, hydrogen, waste heat, energy efficiency, etc.);
-
Innovative solutions or breakthrough technologies;
-
Strategies or roadmaps;
-
Methodologies and tools for measuring and implementing decarbonization.
How to reply
This call is open until Friday, January 24, 2025.
To respond, please send a summary of your proposal to angelique.jallais@axelera.org, lucille.payet@alliance-allice.com or celine.fallot@tenerrdis.fr.
The event is open to all structures working on these subjects: companies, research laboratories, technical centers, etc. The number of oral presentations will be limited. Presentations will be selected on the basis of the innovative nature of the proposed expertise, its relevance to the day's theme, and the clarity of the abstract. As an indication, the time allowed for a presentation is generally between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the type of presentation and the number of speakers. A fee of โฌ150 plus VAT will be charged to speakers who are not AXELERA, TENERRDIS or ALLICE Alliance members.
