[Call for expressions of interest] - Collecting expressions of interest from H2 LCV users

We take the liberty of relaying an initiative launched by the Direction Générale des Entreprises (DGE) (and relayed by France Hydrogène), which is studying the launch of an unprecedented scheme to support the purchase or rental of hydrogen-powered vans.tudying the launch ofan unprecedented scheme to support the purchase or leasing in 2025 of 1,000 to 2,000 hydrogen-powered vans:LCVs and vans of up to 6.5 tonnes, depending on identified needs. (see attached e-mail).

"Extract from France Hydrogène mail: If implemented, thisscheme wouldeliminate the TCO price gap between hydrogen-poweredvans and equivalent battery-powered vehicles. To justify the introduction of such a support scheme, the DGE is collectingexpressions of interest in acquiring hydrogen-powered vansby 2025. Let me stress the term "expressions of interest": we're not talking about a firm commitment here, or even a LAW, but simply an expression of interest in the acquisition of hydrogen-powered vans in 2025 within the financial framework mentioned here (subsidy to cover the TCO difference with the battery equivalent), as the hydrogen solution would meet an operational need that is difficult or impossible to address with the battery. The only information required from the Administration (and which may lead to further investigation) is as follows: legal entity concerned, contact person within this entity,number of vehicles concerned, location(s) of need.

In the same context, in order to convince the French government of the need to launch a program for hydrogen-powered vans, the DGE is collecting testimonials / RETEX from users of hydrogen-powered vans, explaining the technical benefits they have gained compared to a battery solution.or, failing that, a RETEX noting the limitations of battery solutions in relation to certain operational needs."

The Auvergne-Rhône Alpes region will be one of these regions, with15 open stations capable of accommodating these vehicles by2025/26:

"Whether you're a craftsman, a small, medium or large company, a fleet manager, etc., don't wait to express your interest to the DGE!This scheme is being negotiated as part of the 2025 budget, so the DGE needs these elements by January 28at the latest, and the sooner the better. "
