On the occasion of the end of her term of office at the helm of Tenerrdis, Séverine Jouanneau Si Larbi looks back on the major milestones that marked her three years at the head of the cluster. Between strategic repositioning, strengthened partnerships and a strong European presence, she draws up a balance sheet rich in initiatives to support the energy transition. Interview.

What were your first impressions when you took up your post three years ago?

I discovered a huge diversity of players and an incredible dynamic on energy transition issues, both internally and among all the members.

What were the main projects or initiatives you launched during your term of office?

The first year of my mandate was devoted to preparing the application for phase 5 of the competitiveness clusters, with work on the strategic repositioning of Tenerrdis' activities around an approach focused on territorial ecosystems, with the challenge of anchoring the energy mix in the territories.

Several initiatives have marked these 3 years, such as the strengthening of the Partners Club, the development of activities on a European scale, and the intensification of links with other players in the innovation ecosystem, such as SATTs and ITEs. We have also worked hard on incubation and the implementation of skills development projects.

In addition, as Tenerrdis had a very "Isère" image, we consolidated our geographical positioning on a regional scale by strengthening our links with other regions.

Finally, to meet the challenges of visibility, we overhauled the cluster's graphic identity, with a new logo and renewed digital tools, such as the internet and extranet sites.

How do you assess the cluster's impact on the regional and national energy transition?

At national level, Tenerrdis is recognized for its influential role, notably through its participation in strategic industry committees, its involvement on the boards of the Association Française des Pôles de Compétitivité (AFPC) and the PEXE network, as well as within the France Hydrogène association, with Tenerrdis acting as the Regional Delegation for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

On a regional scale, the cluster enjoys significant recognition from its institutional partners. The dual role of "Délégué général Tenerrdis / Délégué régional France Hydrogène" gives Tenerrdis a special place among regional clusters. Tenerrdis was the only cluster represented at the regional COP, alongside trade associations and other energy players.

What do you think makes Tenerrdis a key player in the energy transition?

We facilitate and support the development of new energy sectors. We play a key role in structuring new sectors, such as hydrogen.

Tenerrdis plays a decisive role in bringing together the various players in the ecosystem around a common vision and supporting innovative projects to accelerate the energy transition. Our strength lies in our ability to structure and coordinate initiatives that are part of this dynamic.

In the French energy mix, it's important to consider both renewable energies and nuclear power, which plays a key role. In this respect, the link between these two fields is crucial, and Tenerrdis knows how to explore it.

The European dimension has become an important part of the clusters' strategy in recent years.

Europe has become a strategic focus for Tenerrdis, for two main reasons. The first is to support our members in accessing funding windows adapted to their projects. The second is to diversify the cluster's sources of funding, as requested by the French government and the Region.

This European positioning enables us not only to respond to the needs of our members, but also to develop collaborations that help to spread and duplicate innovations beyond our borders. It's an essential lever for disseminating best practices and developing concrete solutions on a European scale.

Is there any particular message you'd like to send to the cluster's members and partners on the occasion of your departure?

Competitive clusters play a central role in France's innovation ecosystem. Tenerrdis is a powerful lever for supporting players in the energy transition, both in terms of innovation and competitiveness.

However, none of this would be possible without the support and involvement of the cluster's members and partners. Their commitment is essential if Tenerrdis is to continue accompanying them in this transition to a low-carbon world.
