Objectives

1. Understand the various conventional drying techniques: conduction, convection, radiation, etc.
2. Relate the theoretical and practical bases for drying by hot air, conduction, infrared, microwave and superheated steam.
3. Differentiate between dryer technologies and production methods.
4. Pre-sizing a dryer
5. Carry out a rapid energy audit and a statement of corrective actions to improve dryers

Target audience

Engineers and technicians from the environment, maintenance, new works and production departments, as well as anyone in charge of purchasing and energy management within the company.
