Xavier Rabanel elected Chairman of the Tenerrdis Board of Directors
The Board of Directors, which met on Tuesday June 10, elected Xavier Rabanel, Industry and Territory Delegate for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes for EDF, as the new Chairman of Tenerrdis.

" I am honored by the confidence placed in me by the Tenerrdis Board of Directors in appointing me Chairman. I would like to pay tribute to the commitment of Julien Français, whose term of office has been marked by a strong dynamic serving the development of the cluster and its members.
Tenerrdis is focused on a crucial issue: the energy transition to a low-carbon future. On this complex, demanding and innovative subject, companies need more than ever to be federated, animated, informed and supported. Tenerrdis plays an essential role in mobilizing players and catalyzing projects.
My commitment will be guided by a clear ambition: to make Tenerrdis an ever more effective lever at the service of innovation and concrete impact on the territories. I will devote all my energy to this collective mission, working closely with all the cluster's public and private partners. "
An engineering graduate of École Centrale Paris and HEC, Xavier Rabanel has over 20 years' experience in the energy and industry sectors. His career has been marked by a strong involvement in energy transition issues and business development.
He has held operational, managerial and strategic positions within the EDF Group, where he has been Industry and Territory Delegate for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region since 2021. Committed to the sustainable and coherent development of territories, he puts his expertise at the service of Tenerrdis' mission: to develop and support innovative and sustainable solutions at the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Xavier Rabanel takes over from Julien Français, who spent 10 years at the helm of the cluster's Board of Directors, and whom the team warmly thanks for his commitment!

" I'm delighted with the 10 years I've spent as Chairman of Tenerrdis. It's been a fascinating experience, punctuated by many wonderful encounters with people (cluster members, governance team, management team). The cluster's regional ecosystem is rich and dynamic, brimming with innovative projects to support the energy transition and boost the competitiveness of our companies and regions.
Anchored around strong historical technological sectors, the cluster has seen its membership grow, and has been able to seize new opportunities (notably in Europe). It has also developed an ecosystemic vision of the energy transition, fully integrating the different types of territories as well as the various players, including those involved in energy use.
I'm delighted to be handing over to Xavier Rabanel as our new president. He has my full confidence. CNR, which I represent, will remain fully involved in the innovation dynamic as an active member of the Tenerrdis network."
